AB Sequence

 AB Sequence Project!

AB Sequence Project! (Video Link)

I really enjoyed working on this project. I learned about how to use different shots and angles to represent traveling from point A to point B in a video and how to use film sequencing to prevent continuity errors. My partner and I brainstormed ideas as to how to create a video that would flow well and use different types of shots as well. We sketched out different shots and went out to where we were going to film to come up with our final rough draft. In the end our final project is what we came up with.

My editing process went pretty smoothly. It was a lot easier than last time because I am used to the software and was able to edit my video within two class hours. On some of my shots I had to trim then down because they were very long and boring. I didn't add any sound effects to my video and just added the music that I chose. My partner and I wanted to choose a simple concept and so we decided to go with Point A: Classroom, Point B: Restroom. We included filling out a planner, getting a signature, and walking to the restrooms.

I think me and partner did very well collaborating together to come up with ideas and complete the AB sequence project. We did a good job sharing ideas and changing things when we felt they needed to be changed instead of just going with the project unhappily. On my next project I think I want to make the acting more expressive and maybe try to use more interesting shots.
